Designed by ADG, a leading clubhouse architectural firm, the Stonewall Golf Club is a 13,000 square foot clubhouse overlooking a panoramic view of the Number 18 green, Number 10 fairway, driving range and the Number 1 tee box. The Clubhouse exterior will consist of white clapboard siding accented by native Virginia stone. The exterior has been designed to complement existing Lake Manassas structures including the community Swim and Tennis Center and stone walls, which are prevalent at the many road and neighborhood entrances. The southeastern exposure will feature an outdoor terrace for dining and socializing after a round of golf. On the pro shop side, a large clock will frame the entrance reminding golfers they still have time for refreshments and good conversation in the Brass Cannon Restaurant. From the event room and outdoor terrace patrons are able to view golfers approaching the Number 18 peninsula green with Lake Manassas in the immediate background. Above Lake Manassas on the ridge, golfers can be seen addressing their approach shot on Number 10. Directly in front of the dining room, expansive arched palladium windows allows diners to look out over the practice green and watch golfers working on their "short game" or practicing on the expansive range. A large stone fireplace will welcome golfers as they discuss their round and enjoy refreshments around a flickering fire. From the richly appointed pro shop, golfers can see the first tee and the practice and range facility. Around the course, no detail has been overlooked. Located adjacent to Number 9 is a refreshment stand and by Number 4 is a bathroom facility. Stone walls accent the 18th, 6th and 7th greens. |
